Ocean Freight
Fracht can arrange your ocean freight to any port in the world. We will be happy to provide you with an advance quote on your shipment and then put the process in motion to make the booking, arrange the packing, loading and delivery of your cargo to the port, prepare the documentation and pre-alert everyone involved of its pending arrival at the port of discharge. In addition, through our vast network of own offices and agents, we can also arrange the customs clearance and delivery in the destination country. Customs Clearance
Fracht offers a full line of customs brokerage services and consulting. We have an experienced staff, knowledgeable with all types of Customs Entries including, Visa and Quota, NAFTA, GSP, AGOA, TIB, FDA and Duty Drawback to name a few. We are ABI certified for prompt and effective processing of all your entries, also allowing pre-clearance for many shipments. All our services are preformed with the highest level of customs compliance and reasonable care. Fracht understands the importance of security throughout your supply chain. We continue to support C-TPAT and can assist you with the application process. We also are approved for Electronic Automated Manifest filing (AMS) under the new 24 hour rule. Projects
Fracht, which was opened in 1955 in Basel Switzerland, was and has remained a major provider of project forwarding logistics. Over the years we have provided project services to many of the top companies in the power generation and petrochemical fields. We have also handled projects as diverse as laying fiber optic cable under the sea to complete mass transit systems which encompassed 80 rail cars. Whether your project requires ocean charters, air charters, barge, rail or heavy haul by truck, we have the experience and expertise to provide you with a realistic quote. Upon being awarded the project, we will assist you in every way to make sure your cargo arrives safely and on time. We will perform surveys and coordinate planning meetings with all involved parties to make sure your project has the full value of our knowledge and the most recent technology and equipment available. Specifically in the case of complex logistics solutions, it's the sum of the parts that determines the overall environmental impact. The relationship between logistics provision and the environment is therefore a close one. Appropriate logistics solutions not only reduce this impact, they also cut costs and hence increase our customers' competitiveness.
